Is there an experience more unique than enjoying the acoustic of Archery Summit’s barrel caves, dug directly into the red hills of Dundee? Join us for a program of Beethoven, Esmail, Roustom, and de Bologne.
This season finale program opens with brilliant violin duos by 18th century composer and virtuoso violinist Joseph de Bologne, followed by Kareem Roustom’s emotional Letters Home, written in response to violence in Syria, Roustom’s homeland. We then share a work by Composer-in-Residence Reena Esmail, her vibrant, expressive Teen Murti, for cello and string quartet. The concert will close with WVCMF’s annual exploration of a Beethoven’s String Quartet, this time the exuberant Op. 59 No. 3.
