Arcus Vineyard

Our Arcus Vineyard is a dramatic expanse of vineyard blocks that have been assembled by Archery Summit over time and include some of the oldest Pinot Noir vines in the Willamette Valley, some of which are over 40 years old. Arcus, which means “bow” in Latin, is aptly named for its steep, bowl-shaped configuration. This phenomenon creates a multitude of microclimates due to the variable exposures and soil depths, giving each block a distinct personality. The Arcus Estate Vineyard also offers the lowest yields of any of our estate vineyards, between 1.5 and 1.75 tons per acre.

Wine Profile

Arcus Vineyard Pinot Noir is defined by its distinct floral character. Nuances of violet, carnation and rose petal are often noted, as are intriguing spice tones of fennel and anise. Vibrant red fruits and dark, lush berry impressions create a broad palette of fruit that is framed by supple tannins.
