“Bright ruby-red. A complex bouquet of fresh red fruits, incense and potpourri, with a sexy oak spice note gaining strength in the glass. Offers gently sweet raspberry and floral pastille flavors and notes of vanilla and mocha in the background. Silky and focused, with strong finishing punch and smooth, harmonious tannins for grip.”
Archery Summit 2011 Archery Summit Renegade Ridge Estate Pinot Noir was rated 92 points by Stephen Tanzer’s International Wine Cellar! Please see below for the full review.
“Bright ruby-red. Sexy, oak-spiced aromas of red and dark berries, incense and pungent flowers. Sweet cherry-vanilla and black raspberry flavors show excellent clarity and energy thanks to bright acidity and a spicy nuance. Puts on flesh in the glass and finishes with smooth, supple tannins and lingering notes of mocha and candied dark berries. In an opulent style for the vintage but in no way heavy.”
Archery Summit 2011 Archery Summit Arcus Estate Pinot Noir was rated 91 points by Stephen Tanzer’s International Wine Cellar! Please see below for the full review.
“Vivid red. A complex bouquet evokes dark berries, cola, dried rose and sassafras, with mocha and vanilla undertones. Silky and penetrating, with good energy to its spice-accented blackberry and cherry-cola flavors. A hint of orange pith adds a refreshingly bitter edge and lift to a smooth, sweet and persistent finish. This is showing enough complexity to be enjoyed now without guilt but I’d let mine rest for another couple of years or so.”
Archery Summit 2011 Archery Summit Archer’s Edge Estate Pinot Noir was rated 90 points by Stephen Tanzer’s International Wine Cellar! Please see below for the full review.
“Vivid red. High-pitched black raspberry, floral and Asian spice aromas are deepened by notes of cola and mocha. Deeper and darker in character on the palate, offering sweet cherry and blackberry flavors and a hint of spicecake. Finishes smooth and long, with exotic spice and floral nuances and gently chewy tannins.”
Archery Summit 2011 Archery Summit Looney Vineyard Pinot Noir was rated 90 points by Stephen Tanzer’s International Wine Cellar! Please see below for the full review.
“Vivid red. Fresh red berries and candied rose on the nose, with notes of vanilla and anise adding depth. Sappy and precise on the palate, offering gently sweet raspberry and floral pastille flavors and a smoky quality on the back half. Closes with very good clarity and sneaky sweetness, leaving red fruit preserve and vanilla notes behind.”
The 2012 vintage produced a wine with lovely energy and liveliness. On the nose are evocative aromas of citrusy lemon verbena, lime zest, apple blossom and rosemary. The palate shows notes of fresh pineapple, white peach, ambrosia apples and a confectionary spice reminiscent of white gumdrops. The palate is succulent and bright with a lively acidity and a mouthwatering quality that carries through to the finish which is long and clean and punctuated by a distinctive flinty minerality.

“Dark and ripe, with a tangy streak of minerality that plays its rock and stone elements against the generous blackberry and black currant flavors, finishing with finesse. Drink now through 2020. 550 cases made. –HS
