Highly Recommended Assertive toasty aromas of brambly black fruits and fresh earth promise a boldness that is delivered on the palate, where intense wild berry juiciness is combined with a sweet graham toastiness for a rich yet balanced experience. All the bigness of a 2003, but still pure Pinot. Serve with rosemary lamb chop.

89 points Medium ruby color. Intensely spiced nose of dark berries, cherry jam, licorice and fruitcake. Very sweet and lush, with an almost confectionery display of cherry and cassis fruit along with plenty of exotic oak spice. Rich, supple and sweet through the finish, which is marked by big but nicely buffered tannins.
