Red Hills Estate
Our Patriarchal Vineyard
Presiding over the northern end of Dundee, Red Hills Estate is planted with strong vines that have persevered on these steep hillsides for decades. These mature vines thrive in rocky, mineral-laced soils and are spaced in tight rows resembling those found in Grand Cru vineyards. The land is a challenge to farm, but well worth the effort. The soils force the vines to work hard and, not unexpectedly, this leads to excellence. The fruit, lush but masculine, provides the coveted structure found only in the most age-worthy wines.
